Gasless Transactions on Increment, Powered by Zyfi
You Portal to a Gas Abstracted Experience on zkSync Era
We’re delighted to announce a collaboration with Zyfi to bring gasless transactions for Increment users, here for a limited time only!
Event date & time: During the Ethereum ETF Decision Month: Trading Tournament from May 8th - June 5th 2024 18:00 UTC.
How it works: By default, users who interact with Increment pay in ETH for their gas fees. Thanks to Zyfi, users can now opt-in to its Paymaster and pay in USDC instead.
For a limited time, users interacting on Increment will be eligible for gasless transactions! You heard it right, 100% off on all gas fees when using Increment! For a limited time only.
For a step-by-step guide on how to enable the Zyfi paymaster on Increment, see this link: https://docs.increment.finance/increment/protocol/user-guide/paymaster
Other Rewards:
As part of the Ethereum ETF Decision Month: Trading Tournament, users could win from a 5000 USDC prize pool
As part of Zyfi’s Gas Points program, users earn 100 Gas Points for every 0.00025 ETH (equivalent to $1 at $4000 ETH) spent by Zyfi’s paymasters
As part of the Increment Season 2024: Ranked and Honors program, users earn rankings and honors based on their activities on Increment
At the end of the period, all participants who used the Zyfi Paymaster on Increment will receive a unique digital collectible minted on zkSync Era called “Increment x Zyfi: Gas Abstraction Orb” to commemorate this event!
About Zyfi:
Zyfi is a set of tools that leverages zkSync's native account abstraction (AA) to provide a seamless on-chain experience to users. They offer a full-stack solution ranging from a front-end to an API that lets any dApp propose gasless transactions (e.g. Hold an NFT = gasless txs) and enabling users to pay with any ERC-20 tokens.
The whole process is built with 3 major steps:
The paymaster API interacts directly with the Increment front end. It receives the transaction data and adds the paymaster parameters including the fee taken on the ERC-20 that will be used to pay for the gas costs.
User signing transaction data. The user then signs a gasless transaction and gives the allowance to the paymaster for the ERC-20 fee.
Paymaster execution. The Zyfi Paymaster then receives the ERC-20 fee to validate and execute the transaction while paying the ETH gas fees for the end user.
